PREMIER LEAGUE MENS/WOMEN

Premier League Football - Mens and Womens
Mixed (Mens) Premier League
Macquarie Dragons competes at the highest level in the NWSF Premier League Mens competition.
This competition is the highest level in the Association. The MDFC squad comprises First Grade and Reserve Grade teams. Our home ground is Waterloo Park, Marsfield.
The squad consists of around 35 players in order to field 2 teams each week. They train two nights per week during the normal season starting in mid January with the squad playing trial games shortly after.
Dragons have an emphasis on promoting its own young players (typically u18 & u21 players) to the top squad and the club get a great sense of pride when these young players step up full-time into our senior squad. Whilst promoting youth is our priority, any quality player can be invited to trial for the squad. These trials normally take place in December.
If you’re looking to trial for the Dragons Premier League squad, simply contact the Premier League manager or any Dragons Committee member.
Every triallist is given a fair opportunity.
Triallists can be any age from 17 and over.
Womens Premier League
The Womens squad competes in the new combined PLW competition with North West Sydney Football Assocation (NSWF) and Northern Suburbs Football Association (NSFA). This competition is the highest Womens level in the both Football Associations.
Our home ground is Waterloo Park, Marsfield.
Trials for this team are conducted by November each year with training commencing in December.
We have an emphasis on promoting female players from within our club.
The squad consists of around 18 players in the team. The team starts playing trial games in February.
