From ages U6~U9

The Macquarie Dragons have many teams in the Mini's competitions. Mixed teams consisting of boys & girls & girls only teams.

Mini's Football is managed by the Mini's football manager.

Mini-Roos is a non-competitive small-sided game format on a small field with simplified rules. The progression through MiniRoos will get them ready to play 11v11. The mini-roos organizers will try to keep friends playing together in the same team. Players will be placed into teams to ensure their skills are evenly matched so kids can enjoy their football. Mixed teams play on Saturdays and Girl’s teams play on Sundays.

Coerver Academy Training

Macquarie Dragons have introduced Coerver Coaching Academy for its Co-operative style training to teach children the art of football at a very young age for our U6-U13.

Co-operative or academy training styles teach the children ball skills and technique. It allows teams to train as a unit and also as a squad. The sessions are fun and form an important part of learning for young children.

Facilitated by an experienced Coerver head coach, sessions will be held at Waterloo Park on Tuesday & Wednesday evenings.
Weekly sessions will commence in March.

GOALKEEPER training sessions will be on demand. If you would like to arrange sessions please contact our Premier League goalkeeper at

If you'd like more information please contact the Mini's football convenor at
