Club Playing Grounds

Waterloo Park – Official Home Ground for Winter football

Address: Waterloo Road, Marsfield

Waterloo Park has been the home ground of the Macquarie Dragons since 1983. It is currently used for winter Dragons home games.

The Dragons, in conjunction with Ryde Council, had sports lighting installed in 2024 which is suitable for night games and evening training sessions during the Winter season.

Conveniently located next to Trafalgar Place, Marsfield, it is a family-friendly venue with a great bike/walking path, BBQ facilities, basketball courts, play equipment and undercover tables and seating.

There are also the Trafalgar Place cafes to visit as well as enjoying a BBQ breakfast or morning tea from the Dragons canteen. There is plenty of parking in the car park and surrounding streets. It is a three minute drive from Macquarie Centre.

Fontenoy Park - home of Mini-Soccer (Under 6 to Under 9)

Address: Fontenoy Rd, Macquarie Park

Fontenoy Park is our home venue for mini and small sided games. Fontenoy has five fields to cater for all ages involved in small sided football.

The Dragons Committee, in consultation with NWSF and Ryde Council, have designed Fontenoy Park to maximise the enjoyment of the game, without comprising its’ integrity or the safety of the participants.

It is a family friendly venue with a large play area for younger siblings, shady trees for a picnic morning tea whilst enjoying the football and a great BBQ/canteen/coffee van for those who would like to enjoy the Macquarie Dragons hospitality.

There is plenty of parking and Fontenoy is a five minute drive from the Macquarie Centre.
